The Wisdom of thy Knowledge

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 16th December 1934

Knoweth thee my friends that in the past thy knowledge hath been governed by the knowledge of thy teachers. Others have received knowledge before thee, others accepted or doubted the knowledge received in accordance with the teachings of the material mind.

Ye my friends whose desire for truth aspiring for progression beyond thy material plane enables thee to receive thy teachings from those who like thee are desirous of helping in the fulfilment of the Work of God.

In this lesson I will liken thee unto the Bee. The humble Bee like thyself cometh under the Power of thy God. Like thyself influenced by material desires the drone Bee wanders from the path thou was intended to follow. Be ye not drone Bees my material friends, live not for thy desire for life as does the drone for the pleasures of the moment work ye to love as does the Bee, building thy energy and vitality to enable thee to become a strength for the Power of God. Thy strength will surely be needed. Desire not just the acceptance, desire with all thy heart to work in the service of thy God the Supreme Power.

Knowledge, thy material knowledge is the knowledge conceived by the masses. Knowledge accepted, provided it does not interfere with their material joys. In your work thy work shall be the work of thy God. His work shall be thy work. Ye likened unto the Bee will store the fruits of thy labours to distribute at his command that fruit to the masses.

Ye are at liberty to classify in thine own material minds the wisdom of the teachings that thou hast received and the teachings thou shalt receive, but I ask thee my friends, let thy judgement be thine own. Let ye each think for thyself, deciding for thyself, implicating none other than thyself.

Referring back unto the Moths, if ye desire to scorch thy wings let that desire be thine own, guide thee not with thy material understanding another to the flame that scorcheth, thee if ye must perish, perish alone.

How knoweth thou that thou receiveth the words of God? Look ye back my material friends, think how wise ye are in the knowledge of thy teachings. Look well around ye at the material drones working just for today, casting aside any thoughts of tomorrow. There are preachers among thee that doubt the Power of the God of whom they preach. There are those that progress and fight sincerely with their hearts, minds and tongues to maintain the work to whom they earnestly believe they are teaching the truth, they are overwhelmed by the masses desire for material life who desire life for themselves and not for their God.
