The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 13th January 1935

Let your vanity not be flattered by the wisdom of your decision by your presence in the circle here tonight.

Know ye my friends of the material plane, the wisdom of your choice is the wisdom of your Spiritual Advisors who have guided thy footsteps faithfully to the Path of Light, the Supreme Light, and Power who will in turn bring into thee the wisdom of the Supreme Council of Power, so that then with thy material strength shall bring the Knowledge to thy material surroundings.

Ye the disciples, the scribes of the Council of Power shall truly transcribe the words of the Council of Power that shall from time to time be brought down to thee not for thy knowledge but for the enlightenment of thy material people.

Know ye my material friends thy decision, thy mind, thy material work is known and known well by the Spiritual surroundings many of thy material years in advance of thy material thoughts. Ye are but a plant on the material soil affected by the breeze, a material breeze of temptation. Be it the desire of thy gardener to protect thy petals from the winds thus thou shall be protected, but should thy feet not be firmly in the soil, the soil of truth, sincerity and desire, desire for light and truth, then the desire of thy Spiritual gardeners will not protect thy blossoms. Ye shall then be scattered to the material planes of pleasure, greed and selfishness to live the joys of material moments thou shalt leave thy seeds in the hands of thy gardeners.

Knoweth thou my material friends though thy seeds remain the blossom can never return so in the flower of thy material understanding, the petals fall travelling in the breeze of material freedom, never to return to wither and die, leaving behind the seeds of progression. From the seeds multiplied shall spring further blossoms stronger and sturdier than the father of the seeds, under the guidance and loving care of the gardener that tends so carefully for their welfare and progression.

Like thee my material friends in their desire for freedom and material activity often become exposed to the material breeze thence to be carried far out of reach and care of the gardener of material life.

Knoweth ye that the most beautiful and tender blossoms of the garden receive most attention from the caterpillar grub, the grub of the material soil that feedeth upon the heart, destroying the beauty and the growth.

Be ye not likewise affected by thy material grubs that surround thee in so great abundance, keep ye free from thy step of material influence, be guided by thy Spiritual Advisors who have so faithfully tended to thy nourishment and progression. From time to time trials and temptations shall fan the growth of thy blossoms. Be not consumed for thou shalt then show by thine own wisdom thy desire for further enlightenment by thy acceptance or rejection of the breeze that surrounds thy petals.

Read ye well the words thou hast written for therein lies Truth, Knowledge and Power to the depths of thine own material wisdom. Therein thou shalt find should ye so desire to find, beyond the Power of the understanding of thy present material knowledge round thy work the Power shall have depth without end. To realise the wisdom of truth thou must desire truth and to accept truth an unlimited knowledge shall be thine the knowledge of the Council of the Supreme Power of God.

Learn ye to cast aside thy material understanding search ye ever for thy new light, the truth that we bring into thee never rejecting always accepting until thou knoweth the end. Then and then only shall thy judgement be thine own, for this as in thy material work thou canst not listen, thou canst not understand two words, two sounds given at the same time. Thou who hast in the past lent thine ears in patience, in acceptance of thy material teachings now who fully understand the message, the words of those teachers, shall now lend thine ears and with the same acceptance and patience to the words brought to thee by the Supreme Power.

Hear ye my story as thou hast heard the story of thy material friends then thou shalt call upon thy wisdom then thou shalt judge wisely for thou shalt know that truth for thou wilt have with patience and wisdom received from both sources material and spiritual only thy wisdom thy knowledge shalt be thine own choice.
