Resistance

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 3rd March 1935

Resist ye not my material friends thoughts inspired by those who are so desirous of assisting you to the shores of truth. Ye be wise in the knowledge that in thine own personal wisdom that thou hast acquired during thy short sojourn on thy material plane. But it is well to realise that thy knowledge is but very small for knowest thou that the time allotted to thee on the material plane is but very short and thou should knoweth the hand so desirous of leading thee guiding thee inspiring thee is the hand of wisdom. Wisdom gained by such mistakes of thine. Wisdom gained by eyes that can see the mistakes of thy material brethren around thee. Wisdom of the thoughts of the masses seeing with eyes that thy material mind cannot understand.

Oh ye are like sheep struggling, ignoring the hand that reaches forth to save thee, like sheep one shall lead thee to thy doom. Resist ye not the Powers that offer ye guidance for the Powers are the Powers of many years of material years of wisdom. Powers that liken unto thy material selves have suffered. Powers that wish to guide ye so that thou shalt not strike the rocks of destruction.

Yea thy knowledge is the knowledge of the sheep taught unto each other ye follow without thought or care.

Open wide thine arms thy mind throw aside thy personal vanity thou hast lots yes lots to learn but how canst thou learn if thou desireth not the knowledge if thou constantly offer resistance to the vibrations surrounding thee.

Dost thou not realise that be thine knowledge great that thou hast lots to learn. How canst thou learn if thou wilt not listen. Be it wisdom to reject further knowledge. Dost thy vanity lead ye to believe that thy store of wisdom is complete. If that be so then thou wilt surely learn thou art not so wise as thou thought thou wast.

The material mind questions "What resistance do I offer to the hands that are so willing to guide me".

Know ye the Voice that ye so desireth is but a Voice in a crowd. Tune thine ears to the sound of that Voice. Thou who possesseth faculties and strength that far surpasses the animal life of thy material plane yet thou hast not learned to rely upon the wisdom and instincts thou knowest. Yet the animal that posseseth less wisdom than thine rely upon the vibrations of the instinct that leads it to the path of safety.

Art thou lazy art thou tired. Do ye not desire to rely upon thine own instincts rather than upon the instincts of an animal whose knowledge cannot be superior to thine own.

The Voice and inspiration just a voice from a crowd the voice of a mother to a Child in danger, do ye not desire to recognise the voice of thy Mother. Oh ye children of wilfulness children of vanity and pleasure, listen, listen thou art in danger. The Voice of wisdom warneth thee, heed ye scorch ye not thy wings or then too late thou must realise the foolishness of thy resistance.

All ye who desireth the knowledge and the Power must venture forth with open minds to accept and not reject willing to know the Voice of thy guiding Power.

Thy patience shall be rewarded thine ears shall be tuned to accept but first thy mind thy material mind must be willing to accept and not resist.
