The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 21st April 1935

Oh ye of the material plane the hour draweth nigh for thee to protect thy Material frame, gather around thee the Cloak of God.

Cast thine eyes to the skies thou seeth the clouds of storm, darkness gathers around thee the lightening flashes the tempest roars, storms, storms.

Ye who standeth alone among the Material world of strife a material world unprotected from the storms winds rains the reality of the storm brings to ye the truth of thy discomfort how unprotected thy Material lives how unprepared thou art to face the wrath of the winds the rain the lightening. Could ye but realise the comfort of the sheltering Robe of thy God.

Ye that have written ye that shall continue to write the words of wisdom, ye that shall read ye that shall teach unto thy self the knowledge which thou shall find therein shall find also the comfort and warmth in the knowledge of thy God the Supreme Power.

Cast aside the terrors of the material storms search thee well therein thou shall find truth and enlightenment. Know ye storms come unto ye in many ways. Ye who often create thine own storms knoweth thou ye that writteth as my scribes have created the storm the rain very gentle around thy feet splashing and rippling but know ye the storms that surround thee cannot penetrate the rock on which ye stand. The rain of knowledge shall filter from thy pen to the masses in darkness around ye. Many shall learn the truth the Light but many of thy rain drops shall be blown by the storms and winds to the sandy soil to be absorbed and forgotten.

Ye that desire the truth the Light shall stretch forth thine hands shall bare thy bosom absorbing the rain of truth.

Ye that desire not the cloak of warmth ye who desire to battle with the storms of material oppression ye who desire the fleeting joys of momentary sunshine go forth into the wind where ye find thy skies are dark where ye find but the momentary pleasures the flashes of sunshine go ye forth into the storms of thy material progression.

Ye who desire to have the comforts that the Lord God the Supreme Power hath provided for thee come ye my Material friends to the fields of Spiritual warmth and protection. There thou shalt find the path where thy weary feet tired and wet shall feel the warmth the solid foundation on which to withstand the storms that are ever around thee see the clouds darken.

So come thou with me let us run joyously amid laughter and song run ye my Material friends come to the land of Love dance and sing ever play in the warmth away from the storms that around ye ever gather. Cast ye aside the misery of temptation and strife. Come to the fields of God. Know ye that Light Love and everlasting life know ye that the wisdom and truth that thou shall find in the rays of sunshine and love or is it that ye desire that thy everlasting life shall be a life of storm and strife. Realise as thou hast oft deigned to realise whilst thou journey through the material storms the discomfort winds and rain hath oftimes brought to thee. Realise thou can never prepare thy material for spiritual existence to battle without injury to thy Material body and Spiritual soul.

Why fight ye my friends, when warmth, sunshine, pastures green await thee, knowledge, protection, truth will bring unto thee and thine, materially and spiritual warmth, joys of the lives that thou hast been permitted to enjoy.

Greed. Ye who reach for the sunshine and protection shall reach in vain, be thy reach but the reach of selfish gain. Ye that reach to work and comply with the requirements of God the Supreme God shall not reach in vain.

Reach, search ye well therein thou shalt find that for which thou hast searched in vain there thou shalt receive the wisdom of thy parents, thy parents, parents there thou shalt find thy loved ones who have searched and found there in the bosom the arms of thy parents, thou shalt climb in the comfort and security that was thine in thy childhood days.
