Power of the Ages

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Monday 13th January 1936

Know ye the Power of the Ages the eternal spiritual flame ever encircling ever tempting calling to the material mind a desire as has been written for ye to scorch thy material wings a certainty a force an undesirable force bringing to ye the desire of spiritual and material destruction. Flames of greed flames of ages unaccountable forces of the past unrecognised unrealised as flames of desire flames of destruction grasping the material and the spiritual in the false warmth of destruction.

Ye who desire not the light of God journey forth in thine own desires comply with the desire of the burning flame. Ye may if ye so desire to name the flame as the flame of Hell.

Know ye ye material sinners it be easy to comply with thy desires for thy desires are the desires of the flame. In circles in progressive circles in the protecting light in the security of God are the helping forces to which ye with thy trust and with the compliance with thy faithful desires may walk protected through the burning flame unscarred to be welcomed.

The object of my words to ye must easily be understood progression is not achieved by desire alone. Obedience trust faith and compliance with God and God's Forces is the key to the door of light and protection.

For those material who so desire to misinterpret the word the meaning of flame let it be known let it be understood that it has been spoken of by the Powers of God that the flame that enwraps and entices the material and spiritual progression towards the flame of destruction is not and never shall be a flame as ye would term a fire of the material plane, but a flame of desire a desire opposed to the Will of God a creation predominant vastly growing more and more predominant day by day week by week year by year is fed and nourished by the material fuel of desire greed and false security.

For the infant for the child the child of expectation let us endeavour to speak more softly that the childish mind may learn the love of God and realise there is the protection ever ready to nourish and comfort and love those who desire those who comply those who abide by the desire of God. Approach not too near the danger ere thou too may be consumed by the flame of desire and greed.

God is a just God a loving God an exacting God. Oh children ye who desire to be soldiers of God be ye prepared to cast aside the material temptations ever ready to fan your desires to desert the cause of God. Brave ye soldiers of a loving Father to trust and give all your material energy all your material life in the work of so great a cause.

Oh ye children ye who desire to be received into the garden of love and the garden of play and joy heed ye not the call of temptation heed ye not the call of the flame that consumeth all thy heavenly desires the flame that destroyeth all that thou didst desire. Oh children ye who would brave the fight of thy Heavenly Father know ye now the necessity of compliance and obedience to the Power of God. Cast aside the thoughts of temptation complying with God whose desire is to protect and control if ye so desire if ye so trust to protect ye from the burning agony of the flame of temptation. Good soldiers never fail in their duty to God whose object is to promote the growth of the flower of beauty in every living soul as ye my children have this day sworn by all thou know as good as the juvenile army of God to protect control and govern to obey the commands with faith and trust to protect those children ye may meet from time to time as ye journey through the spheres of your material trials.

From time to time what ye shall deem necessary for the education of the childish mind which will create the desire to work towards the love of God to obey without question casting aside the desire to be in the cycle of spiritual condemnation. Put not the fear of God into the minds of children but to trust to please and to love him. The childish mind cannot conceive anything but love. Fear oppresses and is wont to lead to destruction as soon as it feels a little strength it feels self assured and tries to overrule rather than comply with teachings which have been taught through fear.

Love and the love of doing what is right gives a far different conception it gains joy and pleasure when told how good it has been and tries still harder to do greater things until it becomes part of the child to do good and only wants what is good and best around it.

When it has been tenderly shown by love and tenderness it sees the harshness of the ways of others it would not wish to be in their influence as it would be foreign to it but the children in a different influence will be drawn to that child as they would a light in the dark and if they do not seek its company in times of need and childish trouble will be drawn towards the child which is in the light of Gods love.

The little child shall lead them how true all the words. When one sees the faith the little ones have in their parents teach them to have that faith in God the moulding of a childish mind is like working in soft clay. To mould it into a vessel of worth to carry the beautiful fruits of Gods love. This is indeed a hard task and not easily done as a child oftimes goes against the teachings of its parents.
