The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 15th March 1936

For ye my friends of the material plane this day as everyday I submit for thy acceptance or rejection something more solid than the mere fables of mankind. It needs not a very intelligent mind to recognise the advisability of accepting that which is and ever has been and is today in preference to that which may have been or happened. The time has come my friends when the fables of thy infancy no longer comforts thy troubled mind for thy wisdom has grown in accordance with thy acceptance but it has brought thee no comfort no joy thou art but in a stage of darkness and doubt.

Come ye my friends and ye who would so desire shalt perceive the light the light of truth and knowledge so necessary to guide thy hesitating footsteps along the path of hesitation. A strange sentence but true for thou art torn between the desire to accept that which is and the desire to search for the light of the unknown. Is it not true that the breeze that comforts thy troubled conscience is controlled by thine own desires, wouldst thou cast aside such desires to step bravely forward into a land that requires faith and compliance interfering with that desire that is thine to enjoy for the acceptance of what thou knowest not. But thou dost fear and fear my friends will not bring strength determination faith and trust or the power the force necessary to drag ye from the mire of hesitation.

There are many upon the material plane with the acceptance of truth of the Power of Forces and the inspirations that govern material activities has for them only a vague strength of acceptance. To them my friends I say step forward and fear ye not and if ye deserve a concession pray ye now for thy deliverance but pray from thy heart and not with the tongue, thy prayer may be within thee and not verbally spoken but pray ye sincerely and comply ye well with the instructions that to ye shall be given. Ye that are afflicted and deserve the attention of God shall receive that which thou canst not deny but realise that which hast been granted unto thee thy strength shall be thine as long as thou dost comply with the demands of God the Supreme Force of all kind.

"Great things I have done greater things thou shalt do". Think ye my material brethren hast thou in thy material existence endeavoured to do those greater things that it has been spoken thou shalt do. Art thou worthy to be chosen to do those things of greatness? That it is said thou shalt do hast thou done why hast thou not done ask thyself?

Art thou in the eyes of God worthy of the attentions of the Council of Power who bring to ye the knowledge and the strength that is necessary to enable thee to do the greater things that God himself desires that thou shalt do.

Many professions are attracted to the material mind and many pleasures have been forfeited by the ambitious students of the desired profession to enable them to successfully conquer that which is necessary for them to overcome ere thy have attained that Profession thy desire.

Thus all ye who desire to become students of God receiving the knowledge of the Forces how to reject and how to apply it, it is necessary to undertake your tuition with the same determination to comply and succeed in the face of all opposition a determination to learn of God and the Forces of God. A beautiful objective a lesson worthy of your acceptance be ye material or spiritual.

Students of the Heavenly Forces endeavouring to receive knowledge far beyond the conception of the material mind. Knowledge brought to ye by those most beautiful Powers who walk in harmony and comply with the Power of God. God the ever predominating Force controlling at all times Good and evil for thy acceptance and enlightenment.

So pray ye for the strength to enable ye to progress and comply with determination to succeed in the face of all opposition.
