The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Saturday 25th January 1936

Life in cycles is the preparation born of inspiration a creation likened unto thy self modelled and developed in thy image receptive to the influence that was the foundation of thy creation.

We will pause to analyse the few words thus spoken. Born of inspiration call it love or desire or other terms if you wish. You yourselves have oft spoken the words without the realisation of the truth therein "there is no accounting for taste". The production of a flower of God inspired by God an image in mind and body of what thou hast and what thou wouldst desire.

Make thyselves worthy of the flowers that thou wouldst plant in the garden of evolution for it is spoken that thou art the foundation of honour or disgrace of the acceptance or rejection of the very thought the very influence of the seed of creation. There are seeds of light and seeds of darkness governed and controlled by your own ability by your own desires.

Truly accept or reject in accordance with the material sphere in which ye desire to accept and receive instructions of progression from the Spiritual spheres ever predominant in all material activities. Thus we note as ye live materially or spiritually as ye desire so ye will receive.

This night as of many nights we gather together with grand desires to see the light and better understand the vast and great influences of the Power of God. Sometimes we are apt to be disappointed at our progress and understanding disappointed because our material activities retard our progress and are of more consequence apparently than the lessons of progression we so desire. The reason I call this to your notice is to recall the necessity of compliance acceptance and receptivity of the various forms of development that ye in thy circle are endeavouring to prepare to become receptive to the Higher Influences of Spiritual guidance.

Oh forget not my friends such Influences comes to ye not through thoughts such as mine but through the Higher Influences of the Supreme Council of Power travelling through the various spheres of Progression till it reaches mine and your lowly sphere. Let us tread in reverence worship in reverence to the beautiful thoughts that descend for our enlightenment.

Let us cast aside our worldly troubles and thank the Powers of the influence the knowledge the light that from time to time has been our privilege to feel and understand.

It is strange not doubt for a meeting of development to take this form but understand this my friends it is for your enlightenment and the enlightenment of the masses. Thus the necessity of understanding the road that we and ye must travel life and the creation inspiration is but the acceptance of the influence of creation the sphere of material progression tended cared for and governed throughout the material activities.

Return to the sphere of meditation, following comes realisation then desire then the Power to materialise to govern to control as ye did govern and produce the likeness of thyself of thy mind of thy intentions. Again the cycle of Force of Power to govern the material mind so liken unto the Father and the Mother who desire to control thine activities material and spiritual for as ye would deem it worthy to proudly exhibit the results of thine own endeavours material or spiritual before the Eyes of God.

Thoughts inspired thoughts of so called life death the beginning of life, the realisation of Force the Force of God. Know ye now my friends this realisation comes to all no matter when or how comes to all in material life or spiritual life comes the realisation.

Yes my friends my learned friends it is well ye desire the knowledge that you do desire for the knowledge will bring to you and many who understandeth not the comfort that comes with the realisation.

Life as you see the seeds of desire materially or spiritually it shall be as you desire. Control your desires within the limits of your acceptance and compliance. Pray ye not for a moment and sin for one hour always remember however lowly the influences of thy acceptance they be the Influences of God and thine own desire.

The pains of thine own material agonies and spiritual miseries be of thine own desire to accept or reject the higher to lower influences and the object of this circle shall at all times be a desire to understand the highest living in accordance worthy of that desire so let us at all times endeavour to make ourselves worthy of the Higher Forces and pray that our own ears and eyes may better understand and better prepare to receive that which we desire to receive.
