Powers of Evil

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 4th October 1936

Whilst you did live to enjoy the sunshine many in thy material world lay withering in agony, in turmoil in the Powers of evil.

It has come to thy material knowledge enlightenment and understanding of many things that hast to be and will be and was known to be in the ages that are long past portrayed in many ways as ye are not wont to recognise as described in thy summary of the pyramids of Egypt but there are many things thou dost not understand for thou art but a child of learning unfinished unmatured, a flower of reflection in the garden of the Lord our God.

Thy vanity is not appeased at the mention of thy lack of progression but let us try to remove that veil that for many years has blinded our eyes and material senses overrating our desire for progression is often retarded through our own lack of progression and understanding our inability to classify our own progression with the progression of our forefathers. 'Tis well to pause and look back o'er the road we have travelled, it may be that we have left something behind in our haste our march onwards our desire to reach that which is our desire. Have we paused along the way to assist those who lack the strength and energy whose feet may be weary and sore or have we in our selfishness left many more worthy than ourselves behind. Thus we pause to realise the days that are past o'er which we have travelled has our travel been in vain for selfishness and that which we desire to gain will avail ye naught in the end for remember ye are brothers and sisters under the guiding influences of the spheres of acceptance spheres controlled and governed by thy material minds the intelligence of the mind thy acceptance of thy mind as a sponge. If the desire of thy material self be worthy of higher knowledge that knowledge is thine to receive or cast aside to accept or reject in accordance with that which is thy desire.

Let us for the moment as friends as brothers and sisters pause to realise of the days that are gone and days of today/ 'Tis in the past one must realise there dwelt upon the planes where now stand the pyramids there prospered and lived a nation of people much wiser than thy vanity would have thee realise. These are strange words that after years that may be counted by the thousands that the material kind that progress with the years that are past years of sin turmoil and strife death to the weakest life to the strong 'tis not so canst thou not realise the wisdom of the people of whom I speak close to God understanding the Power of God with far greater wisdom than thine own receiving and benefiting at all times by the guiding influences at their disposal much wiser than thee for were they not able to tell by thousands of years what to ye at the present time is clouded by darkness to thy clouded eyes those pages of light. It has been written in many ways with the acceptance of those mighty visions of the past, gradually dawns the morning light upon thy mind. Canst thou my friends at the moment cast thine eyes o'er thousands of years to come and write as written now of the happenings that are to be. So thou must realise that thine own acceptance of the influences is not as advanced as those that have gone before. Why the question the answer is the same as ever, beautiful blossoms are rare, the choicest fruit is but one of many. Ye are as the fruit but realise controlling influences are just as the flowers governed and controlled by their acceptance but is often very often the choicest fruit or flower that is contaminated with that which we desire.

Now I will endeavour to explain for those who do not understand the simple meaning of my words.

In a garden a material garden there lives the children of God playing and basking in the sunshine and warmth of God's Holy Smile. There bloometh a flower of desire a child of good intentions surrounded by children of playful wilfulness the production of one of many a span of material life closes with the darkness leaving behind on the planes of learning those who tarried by the wayside. One lonely Power is the product of the influence of good out of that mighty gathering. There are many that did not pause to understand but there are those that did not desire to understand so the influence of that wonderful flower is now divided and thou must realise there are many in the sphere above and below the sphere of acceptance but it is thy dearest ambition to walk side by side with that wonderful flower of progression or should be. The words that thou hast written is but a whisper a vision of the past but as ye read there dawns upon thy realisation many things that thou didst not pause to consider the wisdom and greatness of those who lived as thou dost live.
