Mediation and Analysation

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 17th February 1935

Oh ye my material friends I liken thee unto the leaves and the flowers that have bloomed and whose seeds and petals have fallen to be scattered on thy material planes by the breezes of love and anger, drifting, drifting without a definite idea of their final destination when and whence they are travelling.

Close thy material eyes my material friends material flowers pause in the shelter of the storm which temporarily retards thy progression. Close thine eyes in silent meditation. Let ye and thy material surroundings analyse the material drifting. Why do ye drift to an unknown destination.

Let thy thoughts thy knowledge of the past the teachings of thy fathers take thee back o'er the days that are past. The religion of they fathers was the religion of fear, fear of hell and unknown hell the idolisation of one known unto thee as Christ. In thy idolisation the acceptance of the teachings of thy fathers. Around thee has blossomed from time to time Christ's' of today thy day Christ's who have passed by thee receiving not the applause. Ye are all children of the Supreme Power God.

Among ye are those unruly who prefer to drift in the breezes of wilfulness among ye are those that be gentle and receptive to the mild warm breezes of the loving influences that surround thee throughout thy material progression.

Ye will liken thine own material children that surround thee among those even though with all thy loving care, thought, patience and endeavours to lead and teach for the good and upliftment of the child, thou who so try to lead them as thou thinketh to the path of progression and enlightenment often find amongst thy most beloved, the wilfulest and unruliest of thy material children. Aye with all thy care and protection thy child is oft beyond thy management and control. In thy exacting determination thy methods oft bring harsh thy punishment severe thy child drifted, drifted beyond thy control. That is material life as it is known unto thee.

Still with closed eyes we sit and review the wilfulness the progression and enlightenment of thy fathers that have gone beyond.

The knowledge of thy fathers are the seeds of thy knowledge of the day thy day but likened unto thy fathers and thy father's children the seeds of enlightenment the seeds of truth remain in the hearts and minds of a few. Likeneth unto a mother whom constantly threaten their unruly children of the material plane with the whip of punishment thy father's father threatened and held in submission with the fear of hell. Heaven was but a place a land of promise a promise to many of thy material surroundings that brought little hope of Heaven and the Love of God the Supreme Power. The fear of Hell was predominant in thy thoughts in thy teachings the fear of Hell was thy religion not the Love of the progressive life, and God. Hell was predominant in thy thoughts, those that sineth shall find Hell yea just like thy material child who splendour whose progression whose beautiful nature is oft attained not though the love of the parents but through the fear and anger of the parents but know ye and know ye well the truth that I bring into thee not the threats of hell I bring into thee a message so that thou and thy material surroundings may better prepare to understand the requirement the desires of God and to feel truly and to become responsive to the loving guiding influences that are likened unto thy material parents so that thou will not misunderstand, so that thou with thine increased wisdom and intelligence shall feel and know how to become receptive to work with the knowledge that those who desire thy welfare and wisdom to bring into thee the light the knowledge of the material world on which thou now dwelleth no Hell no Hell but as thou soweth so shalt thou reap. Can thou expect to receive the joys the comforts the loving care, of freedom of a loving existence if thou hast not been receptive and desirous willing to comply for the progression of the material world that will or will not be thine when thy work is completed.

In silent meditation let us think how much we are entitled to enjoy the fruits of our labours in thy work the building of a pleasant existence in the material world. Dost thou grasp more than thy share in thy greed thy vanity. Dost thou feel entitled to more than thou deserve thy wisdom tells thee no.

Know ye now my friends of the material plane. I come to thee from the Council of the Supreme Power a Power of truth a Power of Supreme knowledge with a message and a promise a definite promise that thou shalt receive every small portion that thou art justly entitled to. But know ye this, 'tis not reward I bring unto thee 'tis wisdom and truth, 'tis not for the reward thou shalt work 'tis not for the fear of Hell that thou shalt work but for the love of the Supreme God. Above all that thou shalt make thyself receptive so thou shalt better understand the desires of God and thus comply with the desires of those so desirous of leading thee along the road of progression and enlightenment.

With this desire and knowledge shall bring unto thee strength love and purity. Thou wilt learneth the wisdom of unselfishness thou shalt learneth well the folly of thy greed. Thou must learn to love and uplift thy neighbours who may have fallen who in their lack of wisdom and understanding erred from the path of righteousness and the governing influences that would be willing to guide and support in the hour of darkness.

Know ye that have cast aside the teachings of Hell accepting with all the doubts of the material mind the teachings of God are likened unto the child who hast progressed, grown beyond the control of the material parents. So ye my friends, material friends, are now without control and inspirations brought unto ye by the teachings of the past. But knoweth thou in truth have confidence that the influences that surround thee are ever present within thy life of progression, ever ready to guide thee are so desirous that thou shalt learn the desire for understanding the work that it is thy duty to perform. Thou are privileged to remain upon the material plane on which thou now dwelleth.

I beseech thee, thee and thy material surroundings to analyse to understand with the wisdom that the Lord Supreme Power of God hast bestowed upon thee the reasons for the life that hast been granted unto thee. Life material life the seeds of material progression let thy knowledge of the past guide and enlighten thee as to the progression of thy material surroundings. The seeds of seeds planted on the material soil to mature and blossom in the beauty the bloom of splendour producing advanced seeds of wisdom enlightenment and better knowledge of the Powers that are so desirous of guiding thee along the path of progression. Ye are but a seed ye that wish to blossom forth be sure that the seed thy seed be firmly embedded in the soil of material progression for knowest thou should thy seed be cast amongst the rocks that are only too plentifully strewn around thee there thou shalt lie unprotected from the breezes until the life of wisdom and truth be scorched and blistered by the sum ignoring the love and warmth of those that so tenderly care for those whose feet are firmly embedded in the soil of life. Thou canst not expect to blossom if thy one desire is to bask in the sunshine on the lonely rock whose foundation is so solid so warm.

Thou were designed to work and to grow in the desires of thy God, the Supreme Power of all.

So endeth thy mediation thy analysation will be found under what thou shalt now write.

In thy writings thou shalt find therein passages akin to journeys to Hell. Thou shalt find therein the promises of that which to thee will be known as akin to Heaven. In thy writings this evening thou shalt have brought unto thee the teachings of the past and the fears of Hell with the passing thought of thy slight knowledge thou shalt note that which was predominant in the teachings of the past. Hell and the fear of Hell was the whip of thy religion. God was but a promise a promise that left in the minds of thy fathers material fathers the doubt that thy would ever receive.

Note ye well I bring unto ye no whip. I bring unto thee no promise. I bring unto thee only the knowledge that thee be but as seeds a seed of the material plane. If thou so desire thou may blossom further in splendour. If thou so desire thy seeds may bask for a moment, a material moment, on the rocks of greed to wither and to die to return from whence they came to the slime of the beginning with promise of further tolerance and acceptance of their Spiritual gardeners, of enlightenment again to endeavour to rise with more wisdom and strength, to be implanted more firmly more solidly, to again work in unison and enlightenment with the desires of God the Supreme Power. Then why why the material existence over and over to comply with the wants it is thy duty to perform under the influences surrounding thee tarry not by the way thou but wasteth time. Stop ye not until thy work is fully accomplished if thou art desirous of receiving the Love the Light and Protection.
