The Wisdom of Life

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 9th December 1934

Pray ye material friends for Light and wisdom. Write ye material scribes,

Ye that are wise, or all that thinketh they are wise, for they realise not the smallness of their knowledge. Thy wisdom, thy intelligence, granted to thee by Powers above thee, as wisdom of Life, material life, is granted to all round thee, birds, flowers, trees, beasts. In thy vanity, doest thou not realise thy wisdom is not more than the animals and the birds that surround thee whose wisdom was received by the same Powers as was thine. Yea my friends thou hast lessons to learn. The greatness of thy wisdom thou often overate. They that thinketh that wisdom be theirs must in their own importance fail to receive through prompting, knowledge granted ye by those that granted ye thy wisdom. Cast thine eyes around thee, thou hast birds in thy possession, in captivity that are guided by the wisdom of Power, birds that travel with more assurity than thee with all thy material knowledge. Thou art surrounded by the lower animals of life that find their way through life with more assurity than thee with all thy wisdom. Thee with all thy intelligence unable to find food and water for thy existence. Follow the wisdom of the lower animals, that thou surmise are so much lower than thyself. Dost thou not realise that often in thy conceit thou art not as great as the worm thou treadest under thy feet. Thy wisdom is only as great as thy vanity will make space in thy material brain to receive it. Yet around thee exists the animals, insects, as thou knowest guided by the Powers. Often ye that condescend to receive the knowledge from their actions are surprised at the intelligence ye find.

I speak unto ye my material friends, this lesson 'tis necessary for ye to understand before ye undertake the journey that ye are now preparing for. That ye shall, like unto the birds, the beasts, the insects that surround thee realise, realise that ye must work obediently, submissively, in harmony with the Powers that granted thee the little knowledge thou now possess.

Cast ye aside the idea that thy wisdom, thy greatness, is thine own. Thou who art as wise as the Powers desire thee to be. Power the Supreme Power God, granted unto thee the faculties thou now possess. Lose not thyself in thy importance for thou possesseth none. Ye who know thy burdens with all thy wisdom receive thy inspirations from the same Supreme Powers as does the worm. Thy vanity impels, thee from thy classification with the worm, note ye the worm cleaneth the soil so thou might live.

Every living insect on thy material plane works by the Will of the Supreme Power God. Why then dost thou despise thy fellow brothers. Overate not thy material wisdom, be tolerant accepting the knowledge that be granted unto thee. Realise the smallness of thy knowledge. Thou art but children in the hands of the Supreme Powers. Many things thou dost not understand, that with thy acceptance of Power and the knowledge that will be brought unto thee that will awaken thy material mind and the mind of the masses. Many things bringing light and understanding to the masses. Ye that are the disciples of Power are wise to follow faithfully, trusting in the guidance of thy Spiritual Advisors, who will lead ye to truth and understanding, so ye may in turn enlighten the masses.

The day draweth nigh when Power will be made known unto the masses, received by the masses, the masses will work in unison with the guidance of Power, working in better understanding, realising their lack of wisdom, they thought they once possessed. Searching, listening hourly for the reception of Power. Power will bring unto thee, material friends, desire of thy God making thee fitter, purer, to be received in His Holy Presence. Think ye well my friends, look you well, my friends into the writings thou hast already written. Each time ye shall look and understand with greater wisdom the spiritual existence and material requirements that thou must pass in the work of thy Supreme God.

Light shall be brought unto those that desire the Light. Accept the thought of GOD, SUPREME GOD, ever praying, striving, working in unison with the desire of God. Scorch ye not thy wings thou shalt surely perish, never to flutter again, as did the moth whose pleasure of the material warmth was but short lived. Tread ye carefully my material friends in compliance to the wishes of thy God so that thou shalt reach the true warmth with thy wings unscorched. Thou dost not live ye only exist on the material plane, preparing thyself for life. Thy material moment is soon passed bringing unto thee life, truth, joy, pleasure. Ye then shall look back upon thy miserable material existence. Ye shall leave it far behind without regret. Love, thou knowest not, greed, selfishness is predominant in thy material existence. Ye my material scribes chosen wisely in accompanying me on this journey of understanding. Light, Knowledge shall be thine, thine eyes shall be opened to the truth, thy mouth, thy tongue shall speak unto those without eyes or understanding, the knowledge that thou shalt acquire in thy journeys, in the work of the Supreme God. Soon my material friend ye shall know how little thou knoweth. Thy Lord God being a just God, doth grant unto thee wisdom and truth, but judge ye not until the wisdom be thine, for as yet thy knowledge is very small. Understand my friends it is not a hardship, no punishment to leave thy material plane. Desire to leave thy material plane, desire to find the true love understanding. Ye dwell in the lowest slime of material life and will never regret casting aside the material life, thou hast yet to live. Ye are but seeds of the soil, hence until thou cast aside the mire that surrounds thee thou art unable to see the light and understanding. 'Tis well that we do not grasp the full significance of the life and love that lies before thee, for if you did, ye would cast aside thy material existence in thy selfish desire to reach the life, until in thy wisdom thou hast been taught to understand the requirements of the Lord God the Supreme Power, who planted thee as a seed in this miserable garden so that thou shalt mature in the requirements and the desire for which thou were planted.

That understanding now being brought unto thee so that thou shalt bring unto the masses the knowledge when their material minds are in a position to receive.

Before I depart from thy material plane I advise thee to care for thy material mind and body, make thyself fitted to support the medium, be tolerant in thy mind to each other. I ask ye my friends discuss not things ye do not understand, ye can thus shorten the journey towards the light and understanding, if ye will but accept the teachings until the end. How can ye my friends hope to understand the happenings in thy surroundings when thy wisdom is no wiser than the worm, no wiser than the beasts, birds, flowers, trees who work in harmony and unison with the Powers that grant thee thy wisdom and strength. Understand ye my friends thou receiveth knowledge combined knowledge of forces that have passed (beyond) through thy material and spiritual planes, who have in their journeys been able to gather light and understanding far beyond thy conception. Thou of the material plane advancing in stages with the work and knowledge thus gained to the council of the Supreme Power wherein wisdom ye lose thy personality, wherein love, thy neighbour is thyself, where in the thought of thy neighbour is thy thought, harmony. All have passed through a journey and now understand the truth. Where all work with the desire to please and work as is the Will of God the Supreme God, beautiful, loving, caring, understanding. Live ye well my friends complying with the knowledge brought unto thee of the requirements of God so ye too may come and dwell with us. Make thy material life worthy of the trust that has been granted unto thee. I ask you again my friends so as to enable me, Power of the Supreme Power, to be speedy in the accomplishment of this work, I ask you think ye not for thyself. Let those that think for thee guide thee, for thou as yet have not the intelligence of wisdom of thought. Reserve thy judgement and thoughts until the end, doubt you not the truth of the messages that ye receive. Who are ye that can say and judge, what proof material proof have ye for your foundation. Dost ye know of better proof of God than is brought down to you in this way, dost thou know of a nearer contact with thy God than is brought down to ye in this way by those who have travelled beyond thy sphere. If thou dost, dwell not with me for thou knowest more than I, but I fear thy wings would be scorched, in thy wisdom. Look ye back upon thy material lives, on thy material teachings, from thy religious gatherings have been taken the pious, the trusting material, and in thy ignorance thou hast often accused thy God of being an unjust God, proving to thy knowledge now gained how unjust were thy thoughts. With all thy wisdom thou didst not understand.

I beseech thee my friends reserve thy judgement until thou art wise enough to understand.
