The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 21st October 1934

I the mouthpiece on the day of October 21st again am privileged to enlighten you and the masses.

First before proceeding, I will endeavour with a few preliminary remarks which will enable you to understand more fully the things that are strange to your material minds but which will not necessarily follow consecutively.

In the compiling of this book of Knowledge from time to time for your personal enlightenment we deem it necessary to explain the things that are predominant in your minds. Thus you will treat the series of messages as messengers rather than a book which, if you so desire, can be from time to time reconstructed and recompiled so that the material world may better understand. But remember the true messages, remember the true meanings must remain and in no way be altered. At times your minds may not grasp the true meaning of a sentence but if you remain tolerant the sentence will become clear.

So my material scribes treat the work as enlightenment to yourselves at the same time portraying the messages to the masses.

Power, what is Power? Briefly explained, since I came you have grasped a vague meaning of what Power is, a very vague meaning.

You, I, we are all, material and spiritual subjects of Power.

How can you material bodies become receptive to Power?

What do you as material bodies benefit by Power?

How does Power work?

I will now explain the later question by informing you of your Material and Spiritual existence on the experimental planes of life. You will notice that we define your Material, Spiritual as two separate existences. As an example, the Medium's Spiritual self no longer occupies the material shell or controls material actions and vibrations.

This is far different from the usual procedure that you understood whilst in your researchive work as spiritualists. The Medium can now see his Spiritual self whereas in your material developments the procedure was reversed, the Spiritual self of the Medium being suspended and held in abeyance having severed all connections from his Material body, thus enabling the Medium to be held in unison with the Spiritual self of the Balance who in all this work must be protected aye even from the touch of your material hand or person or startling demonstrations at all times until the Medium returns through the Balance to himself. As we progress and the Medium becomes more responsive to the Protecting Powers of Power, we ask you to take these precautions and firstly to protect the Balance at all cost.

What do we gain in advantages from this Power? You gain light, strength, reliance and confidence, something you can see, feel, and understand.

The time has come my material friends when the researchive mind requires facts solid undeniable facts.

How do you proceed to become a subject of this Power? By at all times being trustful, obedient, researchive, by complying from time to time without questioning the advice of your Spiritual Advisors. Faith and trust alone will lead you to Power.

Material life is far too short for the Powers to stay and explain that which from time to time your own Spiritual mind desires to know.

To go far in this work one requires confidence, trust and faith, the faith deeper than that of the faith of an infant for its parents.

A brief explanation on the working of the vibrations known as Power.

Consider me as the Messenger of Power, an influence of Power I my friends represent a branch Body of Power speaking to the masses through the material mouthpiece of the Medium. These messages are but vibrations transmitted as you understand it, transmitted to us as a body that I represent, sent to us, received by us, as it is received by you, passed down from higher vibrations to lower and lower vibrations until it reaches your material selves.

Looking back upon my messages to you, you will understand you have a Material position and a Spiritual one. Your Material Self being governed by your Spiritual Self and when worthy and researchive, often advised by your Spiritual Advisors whose work is for your Spiritual progression and guidance.

Thus my Material Friends, you must conceive the idea and understand that I, like your material selves, having passed beyond the planes of your Spiritual Advisors am still the subject of a more powerful Supreme Body that dwells through the planes beyond our search, that will explain my friends all that is necessary for the moment.

This you may take my material friends as a warning.

In my previous composition, I classified you as weeds of the soil. I offer you on this day October 21st 1934, the opportunity to step into the light, the garden of light, the garden of protection or the opportunity to remain in the fields of weeds.

As a weed you still have the duties of life to fulfil. As a flower your work will be more Spiritual, protected, organised, governed. You will be given the understanding and enlightenment that will enable you to become a worthy branch, a spark and vibration of the Supreme Power that you know as God the Almighty God.
