The Garden of Your Own Endeavours

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Wednesday 23rd February 1938

Let us view the gardens of your own endeavours and realise the vast majority, spiritual and material, whose duty whose work was to cultivate and materialise the fruits that God bids us gather and show, the results of our energy or omissions of our duties in the cultivation and evolution of God's Garden of progression. Ere that harvest is life ere it is gathered. Let us endeavour to pause and realise the results that are to be expected from our previous labours have we worked strenuously energetically, worked and laboured for the love of God's intentions or have we slept in idleness by the wayside. Are we proud of the progression that we have made, do ye realise that ye that have yielded naught slumber in disobedience to the governing influence your original intentions that slumber in the darkness of realisation dawneth night to slumber, a duty a promise to God unfilled to bask in idleness selfishness and greed. The weeds of sin clinging to thy soul proclaiming thee what thou art. Ye who sleepeth in the straw and waketh with the signs of thy slumber must realise that in the eyes of those who have laboured a worthy weed, a weed that needs care attention, slumber, realisation, a mind dormant to the vibrations of guiding influences realise my friends thou art as the words that have been written in the past many times in the flesh thy flesh is of many and not of thee. 'Tis not thy flesh that concerneth God, it is thy soul, the results of seeds planted by thee, the soul and thy acceptance and rejection of the influence of Holy Forces. Realise how scant will be the returns of thy greed of thy slumbers through the darkness of selfishness, realise that every flower that enters the sphere of Higher orders, there are hundreds and thousands remain unripened. Those thousands of souls pass into the darkness to the realisation of some task unfinished. Canst thou not realise that an unfinished garden but leaveth oer the soil weeds that develop and weeds that control. It is as such as thee dost govern whose material actions are governed and controlled to their immediate surroundings.

Ye promote the enemies of God by selfishness leaving the souls in darkness blinded to the pleadings of a tongue they fail to understand.

Souls who in the darkness have forgotten the promise of the garden of progression awake as in a dream to realise that which to them is an unfinished garden an uncultivated garden. How to live for has not their very Soul become enshrouded with thine own sins are they not submerged in their own greed yet comes the realisation. As ye sow so shall ye reap, material and spiritual ere the return of God ere the return of Christ canst thou not realise the shame of thy endeavours. What hast thou produced to assist and to balance ye who are a few among a multitude of many, can thou hope to fight the fight of right when surrounded, opposed by the weeds of thine own desires. God the Power of God is a just God and exacting God. We weigh the harvest very soon as in the material scale. We shall see the balance oh spiritual and material will the scale of progression o'er balance the scale of greed and selfishness. Pray ye well for the harvest akin to God's desire for many times has the scale returned to the fields of weeds and dost thou not realise that thou dost promote the weed of thine own destruction. Material and Spiritual dost thou not realise that thou wilt sink into the mire that thou and thine created for if it is thine to create in abundance that which thou in the selfishness hast successfully created canst thou not realise the overwhelming influence, retarding the progression. Canst thou not see the necessity of thy annihilation. Great cities and nations have perished before in the cleansing of the garden is it not wisdom to cast aside that we do not desire. Let us start again with a clean garden, let us put to slumber the spiritual accumulation gathered from such gardens so they don't contaminate the future. Is it not wise to protect the flowers of beauty that God so desires from the contaminating influence of the harvest of thine own making. Ye will agree that it is necessary to store until the realisation and the awakening makes it necessary to once again encourage the labours once again to try in a balance endeavouring to find that little seed of love of God who is thy keeper, inplanted, cared for, protected nursed until we have in a balance a governing force worthy to work in unison in love in the gardens of God's desire.

I the Voice of Power.

As we walk through the fields ripe with materialism, we see all around that which we are material and spiritual. Are we proud of our endeavours. Dost thou realise the inheritance that thou hast left to feed those who are to follow. Now that thou hast consumed in plenty thy greed and desire of the fruits that nourish ye in the spheres of acceptance canst thou realise the error of thy production. Blind eyes, blind ways, deaf ears, faculties that respond not to the influences, the guiding forces that gather so strenuously to lift thy perishing soul from the slime of thine own greed. Where then dost thou expect to receive the fruits for the sustenance of the future, thy future. Instead of a garden thou hast produced a wilderness of weeds. Remain in the Sphere of material akin to material until thou has fulfilled the labours of thy original intentions. Ye who have produced nought, ye who have consumed that which ye did not produce where dost thou in the sphere of thy soul expect to find that which thou gather which thou didst desire when the soil that which ye call material has perished. Barren of the fruits that should have produced that which would have cared for thy sustenance in the passing from sphere to sphere in the everlasting progression of thy kind.

Ye live ye sleep ye slumber while ye live and ye slumber while ye sleep until the day of realisation when the pangs of thine own cultivation heed ye not in thy hunger and thy desire to march in harmony and unison love determination to work in the cause of God.
