The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Sunday 19th December 1937

Judge ye not thine own sins or the sins of thy brother. With the joys of life there are flowers in abundance seek and rejoice to find for the beauty of God be found in a desert darkness. Each of thy tasks thy troubles and the trials are but to prove thy worthiness as a soldier of equalisation. Balance the weight of thy sins of the past with thy determination to comply tomorrow. Little is he who applauds his own greatness small is he who suffers his own weakness. A prayer of today protects ye not from the sins of tomorrow. Each day each moment thou dost fight the battle of might revealing in thy actions thy endurance and determination to comply to balance in the face of opposition. Ye liveth not for thyself alone ye liveth for those in darkness. Thy soul thy material body directed and controlled in accordance with the desire and the strength of thy compliance. Realise the necessity of all thy strength thy balance is my strength. I the Voice of Power come not to thy circle uninvited, that strength therefore is a necessary for the life of the material contact. Any division may sever the contact of thy medium from the sphere of return. Ye live not for a moment in compliance ye endure not the agony of realisation realise the truth the intention of everlasting progression the promise of life without darkness. Ye who tire, who slumber by the wayside scorcheth but his own soul. Life materially and spiritually the joys and sorrows endured are but the findings of thine own acceptance. Darkness can be found amidst the brightest sunshine by those who desire their eyes to close. The beauties of God cannot be endured by those whose eyes and lips have been closed to the flavours of the gardens of Heaven. There are fruits of sweetness and fruits of acid bitterness one is Heaven the other material greed each appeasing the taste of those desirous of finding the beauty therein in accordance with their own acceptance. The beauties of Hell seem bitterness in Heaven or the beauties of Heaven seem bitterness in Hell. One is progression the other realisation for God's Will will be done. Progression must be thy path which is smooth the other is strewn with thorns thy bed tongues of flame each of thine own seeking thine own acceptance.

Ye are a root of many branches a root of progression thy blossom, thy leaves may produce a fertile soil or contaminate the seeds of thine own making. Bring words of encouragement to the masses in darkness opening the eyes of those who have failed to realise.

Thou art a Power a Power of material, a Power to lift, a Power to raise, but thou worketh not to lift thyself higher or thyself alone.
