The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Saturday 23rd October 1937

I the Voice of Power bring a message to all those who are faithful trusting with everlasting determination to trust in the Power of God. The forces of God are many and varied ye as Materials fail to recognise the ways of God. Trials and temptations prove thy worth. Ye who are privileged to accept or reject in accordance to thy worth, material how worthy dost thou desire to be. How just is thy earthly claims upon the patience of God. Ye who are desirous in thy selfish greed of demanding even in thy prayer are not fitted to receive. Canst thou at the hesitation of the Powers who serve in harmony to God's Holy Powers to grant unto thee that which thou so desire. Cast thine eyes on all thy worldly possessions to realise that there ye see the riches of the gardens of temptation. Will ye survive or will ye stumble o'er the pitfalls of obstruction that are so numerously strewn o'er the pathway of progression. Yea in thy headlong rush to destruction that thou shalt soon be in a position to see what now thy blinded eyes and faculties have failed to recognise to realise. Materialism the beginning of individualism - why? Material is self the root of all recognising nothing but self. Thy very thoughts are self though as in the beginning ignoring the words of the guiding influences so it is in the end for dost thou not struggle to live when thou hast struggled to die. Ye who have reached forth to grasp the poisoned fruits that grow in abundance within thy sphere heeding not the warning of the influences that wished to stay thy greed. Born as a seed of the soil thy sunshine thy life was a Power an inspiration that is recognised and named in many tongues abused the pitfalls and rocks that are many. Born to recognise not thy beauty not thy soul but the filth of thy body. What is that clay that individual that ye are so proud to uphold to defend. The seed neglected the weed lost in a wilderness of sin. Ye who if ye so desire could have blossomed as a flower of beauty in the gardens of everlasting life.

Vanity the curse of thy present civilisation. Greed a powerful invigorating force that guides ye to destruction. The tempest may blow from many quarters always producing the storms inspirations of lower forces. Forces working for the cause of progression in a way that even the scribes who write to ye the masses recognise not. Ye the lowest in darkness fulfil a duty to God. If ye in thy weakness are drawn to the lower spheres it is as ye desire 'tis time that thy soil thy flesh which has become polluted impregnated with earthliness be cleansed thy wilfulness thy obstinate defiance heralds the time of thy sojourn. Recognise oh self that self is but the soil, the soul the flower of God.

Let us analyse the soil of materialism the age of the material sojourn gradually diminishes generation upon generation as ye hasten to tire the soil thy body to gather the fruits of wickedness realise that the sun may shine the darkness of the night fast approaches ye who in the past are wont to close thine eyes and slumber through the darkness but wake to continue the struggle of obstinacy thus thy sleep avails ye naught restless sleep. In God's loving hand realising the unselfishness of thy endeavours pity thy worthless self and calls ye "come unto me my child thou shalt rest in the darkness whence shall come the realisation where thy faculties may rest in peace undisturbed by the maddening influences of thy material brethren, death the sleep of realisation the dream of truth". The awakening comes with thy acceptance and thy realisation of the Power of the Holy Forces of God.

Ye who desire to live and fear to die why? So that thou may continue to enjoy the poisonous demands of thine own selfish inspirations. Yea I hear thy cries whence thy voice proclaims thy intentions to follow the path of wilfulness that hasten thine own destruction. It is all out of greed or lack of care to recognise that which thou dost covet and thou dost still pause to recognise ye who possess that which those dost proclaim is thine whose fruit it is that thou dost store in vain. A wilful greed an acceptance of thine own seeking canst thou not recognise the joy that awaits ye in peace and everlasting life which shines so brightly so clearly so near to thy grasp or is it fruit that thy parched lips fail to recognise in thy selfish greed. I the Voice of Power speak words of truth unto ye who are faithful who trust the everlasting love of God's Holy Influences. Turn the ears ere thou art tempted to carry thy wilfulness to thine own destruction. Turn thy face and gaze o'er the pathways along which thou hast stumbled in vain. Count the years that thou hast wasted in anxiety and doubt of that which is thy God that which thou canst see.

Materialism did it bring to ye peace rest everlasting life? It brought but a desire of greed to possess that which must end with the realisation that thou hast journeyed in vain a contaminated soil living within self recognising nothing but self breeding within the slime self a selfish greed trusting not self the security of self nothing solid nothing sure. Casting aside that very influence that is the sunshine of material progression everlasting life - God.

Aye ye recognise the fruits of materialism they are neighbours thy sphere polluted soil akin to thine own but thou didst fail to realise that as thy steps were led into the darkness of acceptance further contamination brought to ye no relief no peace just doubt as to how long ye would be privileged to possess that which ye covet.

Friends of the soil I bring ye a message that though thine head may bear a crown and thy pathway may be of jewels thy possessions are looked upon with acceptance and delight the path thou dost tread ends but in the darkness when the splendours of thy possessions are no longer recognised. Ye who stubbornly journeyed to destruction cried to God thou despised. Realise the Power of God recognise Gods Holy Power be ye sinner or so called saint but thou didst cast aside recognition for did it not demand the fruit a portion thereof that ye covet.

Let ye who have faith in God's influence in God's Power recognise the advisability of heeding the warning - pause and listen to the cries of those who would lift ye out of the slime.

Build ye strong walls of protection around the circle of thy acceptance each stone shall be thy determination to resist the temptations the retarding influences akin to materialism and there let us rest in peace contentment without the guise of individualism.

Oh ye who journey in the cause of righteousness shall blossom as a flower protected with an everlasting life free from the trials and the rocks of retarding influences.

Amen.
