Trusting to the Guiding Influences

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Saturday 6th November 1937

Ye who journey o'er the wilderness I bid you realise the necessity of trusting to the guiding influences whose task and duty is to lead ye safely o'er the path controlling and governing thy ever erring footsteps.

Realise the foolishness of endeavouring to cross alone through strange fields through paths of darkness, the babble of strange tongues that mean nothing to your unaccustomed ears. You have chosen the influence that you desire whose trust and judgement ye so often proclaim? Forget not the Faith in the Powers that serve you trusting in the influences that you offering not resistance or doubt in the abilities of those who have served thee faithfully. Follow the leadership let not thine own temperamental desires retard thy progress for thou dost liveth not for self alone but for the vast majority whose very progression and the creation of the incentive and desires to follow thee and to trust in thee and thy material leadership. With the knowledge that will come to ye thou shalt save many other than thyself were it for thyself alone the journey that thou dost take would matter not were ye to sleep and rest but thou dost endure the task that thou hast undertaken as a saviour to rescue those who have failed to understand. Soon the Voice of agony and pain shall disturb the material plane in agony and doubt whence shall come the realisation of the fruitless struggle for greed. Whence they shall turn and cry from the darkness "Our struggles are o'er teach me oh Lord what for now I live and then shalt ring the bells heralding good news the return of Christian Power Peace and harmony undisturbed by the grasping greed of material desire.

Speed the day of Judgement and judge ye well that which ye have sought to gain in the past and weigh the balance of that which is offered unto ye and those who follow the words of wisdom that ye my material scribes possess.

Words of joy of truth words that will save Power that will give to those who heed the warning cry to follow faithfully as is desired by our Lord God for thine upliftment and progression.

A child an unruly child a child in doubt for thine experience has taught thee little but mistrust. Many times thou hast suffered in vain each time thou hast received the warning thine ears have heeded not the cry of thy Saviour.

Ye who follow thy Spiritual Advisors must surely recognise the advisability of following without question one whose ears are accustomed to hear who eyes are never blinded to the dangers of the rocks of destruction that are strewn ever along thy path. Ye who obey not must travel alone for those who so desire are privileged to journey into the darkness.

Obedience, faith in the influences that lead ye ever onwards trust in the judgement and advice of the influences that know the path so well. Reliance faith and trust brings happiness for thou dost transmit thine own personality with the acceptance of the influences that thou art receptive to. Fear not to follow doubt ye not the words of God, all is true. What oh my material friends does the Advisor profit by taking ye through the darkness and the slime for there he must work in vain.

Realise then that thy material strength supporteth the strength that endeavours to guide thee. Thy strength then it is recognised supersedes the willing Power, the flowers of truth that is thine by submission thine by acceptance. Many times unknowingly unreasonably ye are wont to mistrust by the acceptance of thine own desires. May thy strength mentally improve to enable thee to have the determination to comply without question and without thought learn to rely upon those whose experience shall safely guide ye o'er the desert the wilderness of doubt.

Yea my spiritual friends ye who have learned to realise the Power of God follow the example of those within the material circle. The collection that we desire is but the loan of a small portion of the Power and Strength that thou dost possess a spiritual balance for a material cause. Learn thy duties towards thy God remember it is not to the garden of misery but the garden of happiness to which we travel.

Ye who calleth upon the Power of God to assist thee in thy weakness to guide thee through the darkness call ye not such a force in vain. Waste ye not the strength of such a Force by submitting to thine own guiding desire 'tis as if thou dost cry loud in hunger and cast the bread upon the waters of destruction.

Realise the necessity of compliance obedience without question until the end.

Ye who desire to travel the darkness governed and controlled by their own acceptance and judgement cast ye not the blame for thine own foolishness for didst thou not refuse the warning therefore cry unto thyself for the strength and the power of thine own judgement to be guided with determination to obey without question without thought unto the end.

I the Voice of Power extend to thee a welcome to partake of the fruits of wisdom if thy body and thy soul refuses the life giving words it is thy privilege.

I the Voice of Power return to the Council of Power from whence I came.

Second Entrance

Words as in the past have been carefully brought unto thee. I beseech thee to accept so that thy journey may continue undisturbed for thou dost fast approach the pastures of everlasting strength from whence we gather the fruits that are urgently needed for our friends in the darkness. Strengthen thy desires thy determination to amass the power that is necessary for the support that we may relieve the agonies of those whose souls are entering the Sphere of Progression and light.

Let us endeavour to realise that which we expect to accomplish in the future. Here in the Church of the Supreme Power of God those whose deeds are worthy of acceptance and are permitted to enter may fearlessly enjoy the privileges protected from the force of retarding influences. Here their eyes shall be opened as thou dost see before ye the same body as thy loved one.

Thou shalt find in the spirit and in the flesh those whom ye desire and love. The spirit shall continue to be thy brother of those in the material and ye shall journey towards the peace and promise hand in hand giving and receiving tendering and caring uplifting and travelling onwards towards God's Holy Force.

Ye who are suffering the agonies of pain of thine own seeking shall approach and shall be relieved of the burdens that thou hast amassed in the darkness of misunderstanding.

Here all hands shall see and hear the voices of those who have left the material plane biding ye welcome to the vast assembly whose existence thou didst doubt in the hours of darkness.

Ye will now listen in silence to the experiences of our spiritual brethren. Here friends shall meet and enjoy the company of love and understanding ye shall heal the sick and annul the pain of materialism. Yea my worthy friends ye have travelled far to find the shelter of the Church of the Supreme Power of God hesitate not to enter bid your friends to follow that they may enjoy the influence of the Power that will be found therein. I the Voice of Power thank you for your attention and your endeavours to reach the Sphere of enlightenment.

I return to the Council of Power and await the privilege and permission to again address you from the Council of Power the Supreme Power of God.
