The Slate

The Book of Enlightenment - A guide to a better life

Our subject shall be the slate quite a usual subject for a school.

Many among us must have realised that in the ages that are past and long forgotten civilisations far surpassing that of our present age without the slightest doubt existed. We have talked many times of progression and with the realisation that civilisation did exist one is bound to wonder why in ages following the lapse of time that did exist from those times to the present why the downward tendency and the fall of civilisations whenever permitted when it was God's desire that the material world should progress. Then my friends I ask ye to look deeply into this slate of the past. The slate of the past, the slate, records of civilisation that are spoken in many ways and many tongues books of deeds good and bad. For our purpose we will call it the slate it is a method of recording our advancement or otherwise as the years of material development have steadily rolled by. It behoves every material being to look upon the slate of the past his own personal records and rectify the omissions he finds, to start tomorrow with a clean slate and if the writing offends the eye and not to his likening clean the slate again, not fill the slate with rubbish but something to be proud of, that and that only is the cause of the decay of civilisation.

To acknowledge a fault to acknowledge a sin is to begin again is to walk with an objective raising our standards to please our God. To fill thy slate with sin and wilfulness is bound to be followed by another cleansing of the slate, too congested for material hands to cleanse a slate. To be cleansed by the Power of God a slate cleansed by death, death that brings time to remember to relent. Realise in thy present time ye have barely time to live. It is thy duty to please thy God and save the Powers the necessity of cleaning thy dirty slate. It is thy duty and lies within thine own power to cleanse our own slates again with the determination to linger and falter not upon the path. Let us become worthy scholars unlike those of the past putting ourselves before our duty to God turning our knowledge to our own gain turning aside the agony and discomfort of our material fellow beings such selfishness and greed are hard to erase from thy slate. Thine actions thy thoughts thy deeds penetrate invisible to many eyes but lights of sin are always visible to God but God never fails to recognise thy endeavours to cleanse the slate that thine actions have soiled. I pray ye than whilst ye have the opportunity to cleanse thy slate with thine own actions to commence at once, to hesitate may prove fatal it is hard to realise how speedily the errors mount how deeply they penetrate beyond recall.

Life is but a class a stage of progress ye may progress through life with a slate that the Power of God would smile upon. Ye may possess a slate unfit to be presented to such a Power. The controlling Influences of the Higher Forces are the judge of thy slate and they alone shall say "Ye my friend doth possess a slate fitted to enter the higher standards of progression, but ye my friend must return for thy slate is unfit, thy lessons unlearned return to the darkness so ye may learn the necessity of compliance". Thus in the darkness the influence to govern to control material, thus preventing those that ye govern from repeating thy omissions thus registering again the disgraceful mistakes of material evolution.

As in the past the civilisations rose to various stages of perfection and as in the present selfishness and greed predominated through desire casting aside the promoting influences of the Holy Spirit. By the Holy Spirit I mean the Higher Influences of the Council of Power. One must first realise that ye in the lower spheres are naturally further removed from the Higher Influences, it is easy to be influenced within the sphere of thine own acceptance but hard to reach spheres beyond the acceptance of thine own slate. It is a natural curiosity for each to gaze upon our slate. Let us do so. Is thy slate but a copy of thy neighbour or do you find written thereon a proud record of your own personal endeavours?

I am afraid as I look upon the slates of many they are but copies thus marching in a body to destruction failure and defeat little realising that their defeat in obtaining the objective that is the desire of God brings disappointment and regret to the Controlling Influences governing the progressive incentive of material progress.

Let our slates be individually completed stand alone in your fight to conquer the retarding influences of material opposition for has it not in the past created the downfall and destruction of the civilisations that far surpassed the age of thy generation. Let thy determination to protect and save thee and thine and those around thee the agony that follows the realisation of that darkness that brings the opportunity of silent meditation. Let not ye or thy slate record thy omissions thy defeat. Work ye so that ye may conquer and progress in accordance with the desires of God.

In these words that I Leverious have brought unto ye this day so that it may be written read and reread and therein ye shall find that which thine eyes cannot see which thy material senses can only accept in accordance with the Sphere of thine own desires as ye progress and as ye journey on. In those words thou shalt find a message of encouragement and hope, a rock of safety to which ye may cling with a feeling of security for God is thy God but God is an exacting God. Thus let thy slate be pure and clean fit to enter fit to lead to the Power of acceptance of thine own desire.

So endeth the class of progression.
